Workshop on Inkscape on September 5th in Cochin

Swathanthra Software Learning Institute [SLI] is conducting a workshop on “Inkscape”, on 5^th September from 10.00 am to 4. 30 pm at Swathanthra Software Learning Institute, Vylasseri Road, Palarivattom. Inkscape is an Open Source vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Xara X, using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format. Inkscape supports many advanced SVG features (markers, clones, alpha blending, etc.) and great care is taken in designing a streamlined interface. It is very easy to edit nodes, perform complex path operations, trace bitmaps and much more.It also aim to maintain a thriving user and developer community by using open, community-oriented development. The session will be taken by Hiran Venugopal. Only 6 seats are available .

SLI formerly known as ‘FLI’ [Free Learning Institute] was found by I. B. Manoj, an experienced computer hardware professional, back in 2009. Initially it started as a venture to give free training in free softwares for school children. Now SLI conducts free training programs for school children and professional training programs for college students, employees, professionals, job seeking candidates, retired employees, house-wives, etc.
