There have always been excuses and problems when something big comes up in the state and gets postponed. The recent one is, completion of Vallarpadam International Container Trans-shipment Terminal is being delayed due to some not so acceptable reason.
The vessel carrying the four huge cranes for the project was not able enter the port because of inadequate draft of the sea basin. At least 12.5 meter draft is necessary for the ship to enter the port. Improper planning and supervision is causing the delay . The terminal is constructed with international standards and delaying of the construction process is so unprofessional.
The dredging has started and is expected to be complete in 7-10 days. Excess money and time are losing every hour as the vessel remains stuck in the sea .Please post your comments any opinions on this issue.

Every one in the shipping sector is so concerned about the project,if this the game,Then i don’t think so it i’ll be a success.Some of the neighboring countries are also trying to down under the project, as they know it will make a huge difference in the shipping sector.

on August 4th, 2010This is again a classic example of people appointed on places where they do not fit at all or are capable to handle those seats. no vision, No logical approach. afterall who is paying for all this inadequacies. of course. Public money wasted for such uneducated so called professionals who are on that Job only because of their political connection and not because they deserve the seats or have that much education and expertise in the field. and this happens for years together where national wealth is just drained or rather siphoned off by these petty rogues who act as if they are the best. bull shit.
