Thiruvairanikkulam Mahadeva Temple

The Thirivairanikkulam Mahadeva Temple is scheduled to open on 24th Dec 2007 and will remain open for 12 days till 4th Jan 2008. The Temple will be open for Darshan by devotees from 4.30 am to 1.30 pm and again from 4.00 pm to 8.30 pm.
The Temple is 13 km from Desam on NH 47 between Aluva and Angamaly and 7 km from Kalady on MC Road between Perumbavoor and Angamaly. The KSRTC will run special busses to the temple from Aluva, Angamaly, Kalady, Perumbavoor and ernakulam during these days. It is situated on the banks of Periyar.
The shrine of Parvathy in this temple complex is open only for 12 days in a year for darshan.
