Dept. of Fashion Technology, Indian Institute of Management Studies & RK International Institute of Fashion Technology is organizing a fashion show  ‘The Chennai silks De La Classe 2010 ‘ on 29th July 2010 at  Le Meridian, Cochin.

The Event will have three sessions. It will start by RIIFT products launch followed by IIMS students’ portfolio presentation and Chennai silks’ garments presentation. The event will be inaugurated by an important personality from Film industry. The fashion collection will be evaluated by a jury of the three members, Cine Actress Jyothimayi, fashion designer Hari Anand and Costume Designer Praveen Varma.

The students portfolio presentation will be a theme based costume design presentation by the final year students of fashion technology. Final design collections on costume designing will be presented by professional models. The Event is open only for selected guests. The event aims to motivate the talented youngsters in fashion designing.
