TCS Wiz Quiz at Kochi
India’s largest tech quiz for school students, TCZ Wiz Quiz organized by TAta Consultancy Services (TCS) to be held in Kochi! The event aims to enhance IT awareness among students. The competition will be conducted on October 10 at IMA House, near Jawaharlal Nehru International at Kaloor. The students from class 8-12 can participate in the competition. Over 1000 students had taken part in the quiz last year. Each institution can send eight teams (two members per team) through the respective insitutions before Oct 5 to the TCS IT Wiz Quiz coordinator, Tata Consultancy Services, Tejomaya, Infopark.
The quiz would mainly focus on application of IT across various sectors — internet and unique web sites, IT buzz words and acronyms, IT Personalia- International, national and local and software products. This is a nationwide event and is expected to reach out to 200,000 students. The event had already been held in Bangalore, Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar in July-August and will be organised in Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Pune. Winners would be getting exciting prizes like laptops while the runners would get cameras and digital photo frames. So young brains out there, do not miss this chance!
