Dosas are one of the most preffered food with any veggie in South India. If you are in Cochin, and have not been to Pai Dosa, you must be 1. not a kochite, 2. nerd 3. buried in some grave. 36 varieties of the Pai dosas are a must try for any dosa lover. And did I say that they serve non-veggie dosas too? With 1000’s daily served from 5pm to 2am and branches in the gulf and United Kingdom, you cannot miss this treat! Here is my video of the place:

I gone to this place, it is not exactly a place with ambiance. But Pai Dosa is tasty no doubt.
Excellent video. What camera are you using ?
I totally agree….it is not exactly a place to chill out, but rather a place to have some dosas!
I never thought there was so much to see at cochin till I went there this week. Lots of awesome places to hangout and lots of cool people!
Can someone make a list of 100-Things-To-Try-At-Cochin ..?
something like :
1. Find out which out of 32 is your favorite Pai Dosa
2. Try the challenge at Dal Rotti
3. And the stuffs like this, that people would love to tell others…
@Arun, I head that there is a challenge in Pai Dosa too that if you can eat a jumbo dosa by yourself, you get it free or soemthing like that.
Hey, am seriously considering the Dal Rotti, I have had big meals, am pretty confident I can take it..
Dosas must be easy, it cant be that heavy as the stuff from Dal rotti.. will see
seems very nice.. i wish to taste PaiDosa when come ekm next time..
can anyone give a direction where to turn PaiBrothersLane in MG Road?
@Arun, Lets do the Dal roti sometime soon….i want to see the thing before I jump in
@ Eldhose, the page has been updated with a small map of the location.
thanks Anand…will try it soon
@TheAnand: Lets have a tweet-up there. Ramesh (the name is that.. right?) of Dal Roti is a tweepl so he will also jump in
yes, really nice Dosas
@Kenny – I use a Flip Mino HD though I don’t upload HD.
@Eldhose – After you cross Padma Jn, just look for Sankars book shop on the left. Take the left from there.
I mostly go there every week. So, you might even bump into me….
Thank you Manu, I assume the direction u mentioned is when coming from MG road north end.
Hope we will meet there sometime soon
The direction I mentioned is when coming from Kacherippady.
i heard lot about Pai Dosa.
yesterday I got a chance to visit Pai Dosa fastfood with Juwal and Manoj. we tasted Thattil Kutti Dosa, Egg Dosa and Cabbage Dosa…all are really tasty..especially the Cabbage Dosa with ‘Chatni’ ….
@Manu Srikumar .. thanks for the giving the direction to the place..i looked for you there:)
wow….thts great Eldhose! I am planning to go there today mostly….btw, do you have some photos we can update on this post?
Anand ..go and enjoy the variety of tastes!!
sorry, i dont have any snaps..we totally plunged into the taste and forgot to take any photos
now I really feel sorry to miss the photos .
@Eldhose – Happy that it helped. And I am in Bangalore currently visiting a few eateries.LOL Was not around.
Thats nice.how is ambiswamys @ pallimukku? BTW ,I want to taste some nice north Indian chat items in Cochin.apart from bimbis and gokul ,where else can I get a Paav Bhaji(Presumably at evening time)?
If you ok with the concept of street eating like me, then, just a stroll through the road in front of the south railyway station has some delicious and hot paav bajis and north indian chaat items. Its opp. to the anand bazaar.
About ambiswamy, its was a place I used to frequent before the parking became a headache….besides, I think prepaid billing limits my BIG appetite
try 5 in one…its the best that i have tasted…..any one knows better than this dosa??
