‘Padamudrakal’ inaugurated in Cochin
‘Padamudrakal‘ is the festival of screenings on the lives of well-known personalities in the society. The inaugurals was done by poet Chemmanam Chacko yesterday at the Press Club associated jointly with the Department of Information and Public Relations. The screenings will be for 3 days.
The inauguration was followed by the screening of poets, writers which are very familiar to us. Poet P. Kunjiraman Nair, popularly called as Mahakavi P who expressed his love for Kerala in his works; writer Thaakazhi Sivashankara Pillai who has written the famous tragic love story ‘Chemmeen‘. Films on writers Vaikkom Mohammed Basheer who is the author of ‘Paathummayude Aadu’; Vayalar Rama Varma- the famous poet; actor Sathyan, etc.
There is also a screening of a documentary based on ONV Kurup’s poem ‘Bhoomikku Oru Charamageetham‘ .
