More 3G operators coming to God’s own Country…. Aircel, Idea, Tata coming to compete with BSNL.
The 3G auction finally ended yesterday after 34 days of fervid bidding. The government gained around USD 14.6 billion from the auction. The 3G auction had commenced on 9 April and there were nine bidders for the slots of 3G series on the block. The government auctioned three slots in 17 telecom service areas and four slots in the remaining five states of Punjab, Bihar, Orissa, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Me awaiting for the new offers by the 3 operators…to start 3G!!!
