May Fest in Kochi
Registrations have started for the May Fest to be conducted on May 17th at the Ernakulam Town Hall. It is a jointly organized by Kochi Corporation, Thraya Cultural Organization and Kerala Chalachitra Academy.
The focal point of the event will be a retrospective of 8 films by veteran actor Bharat Gopi. It is also a should-never-miss opportunity for those interested in old movies because the famous characters like Shankarankutty (‘Kodiyettam’), tablist Ayyappan (‘Yavanika’), Mamachan (‘Kallan Pavithran’) and Dushasanan Pillai (‘Panchavadipalam’) is enacted once again for old time’s memories.
Renowned Directors from the Malayalam and Kollywood film industries like K G George, Balu Mahendra and Sasikumar (Subrahmaniyapuram) including Adoor Gopalakrishnan will take part in the discussions, seminars, forums about the festival.It will be an perfect venue for movie lovers to discuss various channels of film making like script, direction, acting, etc.
