Kochi Tuskers Kerala – The official Kochi Ipl team name

Its official guys . At last after the social media war , the name indicommandos has been changed to Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) . The name was chosen after the poll in the Kochi team page . Kochi tigers Kerala came in second . Guess most of the fans are happy with the new name .

Still the name does not sound so good,the tag Kerala could have been avoided after Kochi Tuskers,however much better than Indi Commandos Kerala. The Logo could have been slightly better with better choice of colours with the background of tuskers in Red resembling a “Nettipattam”. Better name could have been Kochi Tusker Kings. Anyways kudos to Kochi IPL team atleast have identified a decent name and finalizing the home venue as Kochi. Now the Cricket lovers from Kerala have something to cheer about. Thanks Vivek for your commendable effort giving IPL Kochi its due identity.

on March 16th, 2011i too agree wth kochin tuskers kerala. Bt the logo should b improved. My sugestion was “GUESTY GLADIATERS KOCHIN”. Any way tuskers is also sounds good.
