Infrastructure Kerala Ltd (INKEL), Mfar and VKL,as a joined venture have bagged the tender to set up the logistic centre at vallarpadam. The tenders were invited by Cochin Port Trust (CPT) and the long pending demand for the cargo handling and logistic centre is to be answered soon
The logistic centre is to be set up on 7.6 hectorsof land which is leased by CPT at vallarpadam for a period of 30 years for an annual pay of 2.36 crores.This is a part of CPT’s efforts to improve cargo handling facilities close to the new International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT).
