Infopark Kochi is Expanding
Second phase of Infopark’s Expansion! The second phase of software park Infopark in Kochi will come up over 160 acres. This phase may be developed under a public-private partnership model. Infopark chief executive Siddhartha Bhattacharya was not sure whether the new park would be developed by Infopark or by the newly-promoted Kerala State IT Infrastructure.
The existing Infopark is built over 102 acres of land with 2.5 million sq ft. area. At present, there are 9000 people working here. Another 2 million sq ft. is under construction. The two million sq ft. is being developed by Infopark and co-developers like Larsen and Toubro, Wipro and Tata Consultancy. Currently, Infopark Kochi is one among the two major IT Park in Kerala. In near future, we can expect it to be one among the major IT Park sin India.
