Kerala is on the rise in the Global perspective. With an enviable Human Development Index , educational and health facilities, Kerala is in the threshold of being a developed state. The global interest in our small state was confirmed with the arrival of investors and delegates from world over for the Emerging Kerala meet.

And now, it is time to assess, analyse and plan forward for our state from the viewpoint  of NRIs. Prince Holding in association with GOPIO is hosting a symposium on how NRIs can play a pivotal role in further development of the state. This meet is partnered by several leading NRI organisations  such as World Malayalee Council, Kerala Engineers Alumni (KERA), FOMAA, FOKANA, AAPI and other leading NRI Associations worldwide have confirmed their support for this premier Event.The event is slated to be held on January 5th,2013 at Dream Hotel from 5 PM onwards.

The main aim of this discussion is to asses the current situation of the state- the pros and cons and to suggest new models of development and how the NRI population can contribute to its growth and implementation. Along with the 25o NRI delegates from varied fields sch as medicine, business, technology, the discussion will also feature representatives from the government and key decision makers.

This event not only paves the way for intensive NRI participation, but also will hopefully prepare a charter to made out of reccomendations from the discussions.
