Exhibition on Sanskrit Language at AIMS, Cochin

A three day exhibition on Sanskrit was inaugurated yesterday at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. The aim of the exhibition is to take the sansrit language to the masses. The exhibition was inaugurated by Swami Poornanandapuri, general secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math.

The exhibition is organised by the Sanskrit students at the institute in association with Vishwa Sanskrit Prathishthan. The exhibition has item that we use in daily life with its name written in both Malayalam and Sanskrit. Information on the knowledge embedded in Sanskrit in the Indian Scientific Heritage and science subjects is also made available. The exhibition will conclude on Wednesday.

   Really it is a matter of pride that Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences-is taking steps to popularize Sanskrit. others can follow the foot step of this great institute.
