Engg Colleges launched web portal
The web portal www.helloengineer.org was launched by The National Institute of Technology Calicut Alumni Association (NITCAA), Cochin unit last Wednesday. The inaugurals was done by Prof. K. M. Bahauddin, former Principal of Regional Engineering College.
The conclusion to a web portal was arrived when a survey was done on some students who wanted to take up engineering as a career. The survey results showed that they were unaware of the excellence rating of the colleges. The website is very informative as it provides info on engineering colleges, education loans, research opportunities, extra-curricular activities happening in each college, employment opportunities and other relevant details are also provided. A page will be availed to every engineering college in Kerala, which will be providing information on its courses and facilities.
Now you needn’t search tonnes of websites to get info of a college…..they have it all here. Hats off to the heads behind this…
