Cusat for comprehensive examination reforms

Cochin University of Science and Technology has come up with a comprehensive examination reforms manual. The manual was approved during the Syndicate meet held last week. As per the new manual, the students will be evaluated based on their practical and analytical skills. The manual aims at stepping up the efficiency of evaluation system on the campus.

A scientific system will be introduced on the campus to plug the loopholes in the existing examination and evaluation system. Examinations will be held on time, no errors in the evaluation of a student and the results will be published without any delay as well. Duties of the employees in the examination wing will also be listed out. The university secured third position among the varsities in a study conducted by Scopus in the country, in terms of quality of research and publications.
