ACTION 100 launched
August 18, 2009
The group ACTION 100 launched to help the Police and Fire and Rescue Services in rescuing operations. A group of over 100 persons have voluntarily come forward to support the two departments in rescuing and evacuating people during natural calamities and other disasters.
The group had been set up by a philanthropic and charitable organization, Kochi City Action Force (KCAF) in association with the Kochi City Police and the Fire and Rescue Services Department. Proper training will be given to the group on how to react to emergency situations during accidents and natural calamities. Lets hope this group will reach out to the needy ones on time.
