33rd IARF Congress to be held at Cochin

The 33rd international association for religious freedom ( IARF) Congress 2010 will be held at Cochin , catholic renewal centre on September 4th to 7th . As part of the programme Tibetan spiritual leader, Dalai Lama will visit the city on September 4th. This will be his first visit to Kerala. On his visit he will deliver the inaugural lecture on the congress with theme ‘Beyond Conflict to Reconciliation: The Challenge of the 21st Century.
The four-day seminar on religious freedom will have around 600 social and religious leaders from all over the world. The association chose Kerala as the host because of its history of inter religious harmony. For registration and more information please visit IARF website.
